Aldones Nino

In the series Convergências (2020), there is the use of images taken from the book History of Art by EH Gombrich, as a basis for the continuity of the research, where different contexts mix and unite in the interest of pointing out convergences and proximity of social and historical processes. In this sense, in addition to the ink lines that attribute approximations, the canvas is also made of plaster, nails and iron oxide, which expands the possibilities of articulating the materials that make up other works, as well as images that support ideas of power, nation and balance dialogue as links of ruin and the crisis of art historiography today.
